What is something essential about you?

This is the question that Minneapolitans were asked to answer – and if that wasn’t a challenge enough then here’s the stretch – to do so in SIX words….. It’s a great community project that got people thinking, and sharing via posters and writing on windows all around the city.

The colleague who sent this to me didn’t know that I have already been thinking in ‘Sixes’ and what really matters to me and what I’d like to write about and bring to my leadership…. Here they are: Confidence, Courage, Compassion, Commitment, Connection, Community.

And here are some of my favourites from Minneapolis:

Life changed when I became brave

My banjo keeps me emotionally grounded

Dusty roads, low salaries, wonderful people

I’m doing big things right now

Being me part time doesn’t work

We’d love to hear from you, in six words, what is something essential about you, about your leadership – that you would be willing to share with others on the FED site? Please post them directly below in our comments section and join in the conversation.
