I was quite down by the end of the morning news the other day. My energy sapped as I listened to one organisation after another suffering from poor or downright bloody disgraceful leadership!

It’s funny, this leadership stuff. Everyone knows it can make the world of difference yet so many people in leadership positions are failing to bring the human and humane leadership that the world needs more of.

So it was uplifting a few hours later to be with a client learning to get even better at leading his 100,000+ people. I was re-energised in a second when he said ‘I tell my people that it all boils down to “Do the Right Thing.”‘ I thought that’s it, that’s what the world needs more of, more people doing the right thing.

Now you might need to pause and think through what does ‘the right thing’ look like at work, at home and elsewhere for you. But please take the time to think that through and then consciously practise moment by moment doing ‘the right thing’. Have a good week.
