Sarah Hardy-Pickering is the Learning and Development Manager at Weightmans LLP, a firm of Solicitors with offices in Birmingham, Dartford, Knutsford, Leicester, Liverpool, London and Manchester. Weightmans is committed to reaching its full potential through its dedicated and remarkable staff and works hard to create a culture that motivates, challenges and supports those employees. Sarah is responsible for Partner and Associate training and development at the firm which has 1158 staff and she is one of Weightmans' Leadership Champions. Prior to joining Weightmans Sarah was a Principal Lecturer in Law and taught at Universities in Liverpool, Manchester, Glamorgan, Malaysia and the South Pacific and specialised in leading courses on negotiation, mediation and interviewing skills as well land law and succession. Having spent 24 years teaching people how to be lawyers she was tempted into the commercial world by the challenge of teaching lawyers how to be people. Outside of work Sarah specialises in eating, drinking, reading, knitting and swimming - but not always all at the same time.
